We are currently consulting on our latest draft strategic plan, Trust, transparency and value for money. It sets out how the Commission will underpin public trust by ensuring that local public bodies can be held to account for:
- looking after public money
- achieving more with less
- improving places and people's lives

We invite you to comment on the contribution you think the Commission should make throughout the lifetime of the next Parliament. The closing date for responses is 21 May 2010.
Our final plan will be published during 2010, after the general election and when our new Chief Executive has been appointed.
