We are pleased to present the Audit Commission’s Strategic Plan 2004-07. Over the next three years we intend to help to improve public services and by doing so to help to improve people’s lives.
This Plan sets out how we will achieve this ambition. The Plan has benefited from input from a wide range of stakeholders who have participated in events around the country, responded to consultation documents and worked with us during the Plan’s development. This has enabled us to put together a programme that will target our resources where they are most needed and can have most impact.
