This tool is structured to allow a CDRP to identify their progress in achieving value for money outcomes, by assessing what they are doing well and where they might need to improve. The main purpose of the tool is to provide a basis for CDRPs to develop their own action plans.

The Audit Commission has developed a set of value for money (VFM) profiles to support police authorities, forces and auditors undertaking the police use of resources assessments (PURE) in 2007/08.

The migrant workers tool expands on the information in the national report. It includes additional and expanded case study material. There is a particular focus on data issues and on engaging with migrant workers themselves.
