The joint Audit Commission and Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary (HMIC) consultation on proposals for police authority inspection will run for six weeks and is open until 5pm on 10 June 2009.
The consultation asks respondents to comment on the main themes of inspection and how police authorities should be scored so that people have a clear understanding of how well their own authority is performing.
