To help us deal efficiently with your enquiry, please use one of the following options:

• Complaints about a specific council or an enquiry about council accounts: firstly view this information page, which will help you determine who you need to speak to.
• National indicator (NI) or Best value performance indicator (BVPI) queries: please complete the NI enquiry form, so your query can be logged and answered by the PI Team.
• Freedom of information requests: complete the freedom of information request form.
• Ordering publications: email publications or telephone 0800 50 20 30 for copies of national reports and 0844 798 7070 for inspection reports. Reports can also be ordered in large print, Braille or audio format.
• Changes to contact details: use the update my contact details form.
• Audit Commission events: first, see the events calendar. If you have any queries about events, please contact the events team.
• Reporting concerns about fraud, corruption or misuse of public money: see the whistleblowing page, or contact our confidential public interest disclosure line 0845 052 2646.
