The strategic housing services provided by Craven District Council are fair and the prospects of improvement are ‘uncertain’, according to an independent report released today by the Audit Commission. The Council is delivering well in some areas, including affordable housing and returning empty properties to use. However, there is still a significant number of areas to improve including ensuring fair and equal access to all and value for money in service delivery.
