Rochdale MBC and its partners have improved the delivery of the Supporting People programme significantly over the past year, in particular through the commissioning of new services and the involvement of service users. Delivery of the programme is now ‘fair’ compared to the ‘poor’ rating given by our previous inspection in February 2008. The strong track record of improvement over the past year, together with a high level of commitment to providing housing-related support from the Council and its partners, means that there are excellent prospects for further improvement.
