Previous rounds of performance review have considered each pathfinder’s record at a strategic level in developing and delivering its programme across the pathfinder area. Following the Manchester Salford scheme update submission to ODPM for funding from 2006/08 and the Audit Commission’s Strategic Review of those proposals produced in December 2005, a Performance Review visit was undertaken in Harpurhey, North Manchester in April 2006.
This Performance Review now seeks to understand in more detail the development and implementation of plans in another part of the pathfinder area - Higher Broughton, Salford - and to consider the pathfinder's progress in meeting the requirements of recommendations made in the Strategic Review report.
