Previous rounds of performance review have considered each pathfinders record at a strategic level in developing and delivering its programme across the pathfinder area. Following the Partners in Action scheme update submission to ODPM for funding from 2006 to 2008 and the Audit Commission Strategic Review of those proposals, published in March 2006, a Performance Review visit was undertaken in Werneth, Oldham in March 2006.
This Performance Review now seeks to understand in more detail the development and implementation of plans in another part of the pathfinder area - East Central Rochdale - and to consider the pathfinder's progress in meeting the requirements of recommendations made in the Strategic Review report.
