Sutton Housing Partnership (SHP) generally maintains estates in a good condition and works effectively in partnership with local agencies to tackle anti-social behaviour. Rental income is being efficiently collected and tenants with arrears are given advice and support. Tenants also receive a prompt response for repair works. SHP needs to ensure consistent levels of customer service and have a better understanding of and engagement with all of its customers. Its track record of delivering service improvements for customers is good, it is investing in its staff and technology to improve the service and is improving value for money. Although it needs to improve the quality and energy efficiency of many tenants’ homes, its prospects for improvement are promising.
