The Council and its partner organisations are successfully reducing homelessness and delivering a high number of good quality affordable homes. Effective use is being made of the private rented sector and housing associations to access accommodation and steps are being taken to address poor housing conditions. However, there remains scope to strengthen the approach to accessing services, diversity and value for money.
