This document is the Audit Commission’s statement of intent on sustainable development. We have worked with the Sustainable Development Commission (SDC) on the development of this approach, and engaged national stakeholders including government departments, the Local Government Association, the Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA), the Carbon Trust and the Energy Saving Trust.
