The economic regeneration services provided by Stoke-on-Trent City Council are 'fair' with 'uncertain' prospects for improvement.

The formation of the North Staffordshire Regeneration Partnership (NSRP) represents a significant step towards enabling major economic change in north Staffordshire. It has support from key partners and significant levels of funding are in place but the Council must ensure that this investment benefits local people by helping many of them back into work. It must also ensure that Stoke-on-Trent is well prepared for economic recovery.
