Our work extends across the range of local government service areas including benefits, children and young people, (including police, probation and fire), culture, environment, housing, regeneration and sustainable development.
- We inspect the quality and cost effectiveness of local services and report back to the public on the results to help local authorities to continually improve.
- We work in partnership to assess the local public services in an area and promote a better quality of life for local people.
