School survey analysis

In the autumn term following each national survey, the Audit Commission produces a series of analysis reports for each participating local authority.

The reports compare their schools' responses with the average (and the top and bottom quartile) for England or Wales or with the average for their statistical neighbours. The reports also include comparisons with the last survey and between primary and secondary schools. The same analysis reports are used as inspection evidence if the authority is selected for an LEA / Joint Area Review inspection in the academic year following the survey.

The analysis reports are available from this website to participating authorities and their schools. If you are an officer or member, or from a school in an authority which has participated in the survey, you can login below to access your results.

Each local authority has been provided with a single username and password, but you can email the Audit Commission on schoolsurvey-help@audit-commission.gov.uk if you need further information.

A demonstration of the survey analysis is available, please email us if you wish to access this.
