Safer and stronger communities

We examine what councils, with their partners, have achieved in their ambitions for building safer and stronger communities.

Although emphasis has differed according to the priorities of each council, inspectors have assessed six broad themes relating to crime and fear of crime; anti-social behaviour; drugs and alcohol; reducing accidents; emergency planning and community cohesion.
